Skyline Spartan football is a family atmosphere that has been developed since the school opened in 1997.  In the early years, a few projects were in the playbook – now there are dozens of ways that volunteers can get involved. From January through December, there is always something going on in Sparta!

Important meetings help parents stay in touch with the overall expectations of Skyline Spartan Football.

2014 Spring Parent Meeeting - Date/Time/Skyline-location TBD

The Head Coach hosts a parent meeting in the Spring to provide a calendar of all football activities on/off the field and to answer questions. Volunteer opportunities are also shared at this meeting; however, returning parents from the previous season help with getting things rolling early. Some of the projects are continuous, while others have a short timelines.

2014 Fall Sports Meeting - Date/Time - TBD

At the Fall Sports meeting, organized by the Athletic Director, parents get information on all sports available and an opportunity to meet the coaches.

We are always excited about the leadership for upcoming seasons.

Varsity Captains lead the players, regardless of team level, to focus their individual efforts for maximum success as well as to remind them that once they sign on to play Skyline football, their "job" is to prepare for on-field success.

Coaches help the incoming freshman players to transition into high school life and how involvement in the football program afffects them. The Head Coach also assists upperclassmen with identifying potential opportunities for playing at the next level.

Skyline Gridiron Club relies on the Varsity Captain Parents to help coordinate and engage current parent volunteers at all levels (both returning and new) to execute the projects each year that ensure off-the-field projects are completed. SGC also helps incoming freshman parents transition from youth/select sports into the high school arena.
